Escape To The Landmarks of Greece

Greece is home to the longest coastline in Europe, filled with pristine beaches, forests, and rugged mountains. The country is not just a Mediterranean paradise, however, as Greece is home to well-acclaimed monasteries of Meteora, the mystical Delphi Archaeological Site, and above all the city of Athens, home to the world-famous Parthenon, a building whose image represents millennia of philosophy and culture. Travelers, following along the coast of Greece from Corfu to Athens, will have the opportunity to visit those landmarks and more. At the start, travelers will land  on the island of Corfu, where they’ll explore the hanging monasteries of Meteora, perched atop pinnacles of rock. Next, travelers will visit the ancient city of Delphi, a UNESCO World Heritage site, whose structures include ancient buildings like the treasuries, an altar for blood sacrifices (of animals!), a stadium, a gymnasium, a hippodrome, a type of arena in which horse races were held, and the Temple of Apollo. Afterwards is a trip to Athens, where travelers will lay eyes on famous landmarks before visiting Shedia Home, a non-profit cafe which provides purpose and employment to over 150 individuals undergoing homelessness in Athens.
