Dubbed the “Jewel of Arabia” and the “Galapagos of the Middle East,” the Yemeni island of Socotra is renowned for its rich and luscious biodiversity and beautiful marine landscapes. Among these are the famous Delisha beach, a stunning panorama of soft white sands and clear blue waters, and its neighboring Detwah Lagoon, the only site on the island where the vulnerable leopard whipray and bluespotted ribbontail ray have been recorded.
