National Parks offer many recreational opportunities including hiking, camping and rock climbing. Starting in Los Angeles, travelers will spend eight days visiting nearby National Parks. The first of these is Joshua Tree National Park. This park is known for its exhilarating rock climbing and desert landscape. Travelers will have the opportunity to hike and enjoy wildlife before the next stop, Grand Canyon National Park. While this park is mainly located in the northwest corner of Arizona, it actually touches four states (Arizona, Utah, Colorado and Nevada). Here, travelers will get to enjoy an included pizza dinner while looking out onto the Grand Canyon and will have the opportunity to go on a helicopter tour or enjoy the scenic views of the Colorado River—which flows throughout the canyon—on a hike. After a pit stop for free time and a visit to see the natural sandstone that makes up Antelope Canyon in Page, Arizona, travelers will be on their way to Bryce Canyon National Park. This park is in Utah and is known for hoodoos, tall and distinctive rock formations, and scenic vistas. Here, travelers will have the opportunity to see these famous red rocks and partake in stargazing come nightfall, another popular activity for Bryce Canyon National Park visitors. The last stop before the trip ends in Las Vegas is Utah’s Zion National Park. Zion features an expansive canyon and sandstone cliffs, with diverse wildlife and one of the largest freestanding arches in the world. Travelers will have the option of going on a sunset buggy ride to close out the trip and take in the views of this gorgeous National Park.
